“SOLARPUNK” Performance at CPK
At the end of summer, on August 30, 2025, we invite you to the Praga-Południe Cultural Promotion Center in Warsaw for the performance “SOLARPUNK” by our collective, HOTELOKO Company.
After the performance, there will be an audience talk moderated by Hanna Raszewska-Kursa.
The performance is a result of activities carried out as part of the European project In.To.Da.Te. (Innovative Tools for Dance Teachers), co-financed by the European Commission.
The first version of the piece was presented at the Internazionale Dissidanza Festival in Palermo in 2023, as a collaboration between HOTELOKO Company and the educational group from the In.To.Da.Te. project.
This year, we present a new version of the performance, featuring only HOTELOKO Company artists.
In addition to the Warsaw presentation, the performance will also be shown at the Navig Arte Festival in Pisa in September 2025.

Solarpunk is an artistic movement flourishing especially in literature, visual arts, design, architecture, fashion, and activism. The idea behind HOTELOKO Company’s performance, created and performed by Agata Życzkowska, Mirek Woźniak, Karina Szutko, and Maciej Feliga, is to bring the Solarpunk aesthetic and philosophy into the realm of contemporary dance — through the creation of new movement constellations with different people in various spaces. Solarpunk embraces cultural, gender, religious, ability, role, and sexual identity diversity. It focuses on building diverse communities in diverse spaces and seeks to strengthen human connectedness by enhancing the quality of interpersonal relationships — both locally and globally. It imagines a future where technology and nature coexist in harmony, through communities formed around that very vision. It’s not just about “smart cities” — it’s also about smart citizenship. Solarpunk is one of the rare hopeful and positive visions of the future in the context of technological, social, and ecological development.
