“Blue Gold” is a performative collage made up of fragments from previous choreographies and several new scenes, creating a personal and patchwork portrait of the artist — the central figure behind the universe of the Warsaw-based HOTELOKO Company. This solo by Agata Życzkowska moves along the edge of madness, absurdity, and melancholy, becoming both an intimate and universal search for the identity of a woman-artist who constantly reshapes her body, movement language, and personal narrative.
The performance plays consciously with the “greatest hits” format. However, instead of a nostalgic return to the past, it offers a bold and energetic remix filtered through the current life moment and emotional state. It’s a physical journey in which the experienced body still pulses with an irrepressible desire to live. The sequins worn by the artist are not mere decoration — they are armor, stories, traces of all the former versions of herself. Their shimmering reflects the light of the past and projects it toward the future.
Blue Gold also stands for water — the most precious resource of our time, increasingly threatened, limited in access, and depleted. Symbolically, it becomes a metaphor for the body and female creativity — fluid, alive, yet vulnerable to exhaustion, drying out, and marginalization. At the center of it all stands an absolutely fantastic dancer who, instead of disappearing from the stage, returns with even greater strength. With maturity that does not exclude madness. With distance and humor as forms of healing. This is a solo about a woman who shines not because she is perfect, but because she reflects the light of all her cracks. About strength born of doubt and about a gentle, sensitive rebellion. About dance where ecstasy and exhaustion coexist — and about the kind of beauty that arises when you no longer have to choose between one or the other.

Twilight bridges day and night, creating a space for harmony and integration, just as friendship connects different aspects of our lives. In ecofeminism, viewing women solely as reproducers is limiting. Friendship reminds us that every woman has the right to define her own path and live fully, free from social norms. Twilight is an encounter that explores what makes us feel safe and authentic in the presence of others. We reflect on how pheromones and scents influence our relationships. Among animals, scent signals are sensed from great distances; among humans, they also play a key role in bonding. We explore how different energies, bodies, and smells interact, creating a harmonious mosaic of relationships.
III. „Becoming Taiga” / Agnieszka Gąsiorek – 6’36’’ – film
Concept and cinematography: Agnieszka Gąsiorek
Partner: New Visions
becoming taiga is a gathering of members from the transformational learning and unlearning community spaces TAIGA and FJORDS, created by the Berlin-based organization new visions. The program was designed as a safer and braver space for people with life experiences as women who combine artistic and activist work, primarily in Eastern Europe or as migrants elsewhere. It is warmth and the senses, community and care, slowness and love, groundedness and radicalism. The first gathering took place in August 2022 in Massia*ru, Estonia. The film is a poetic documentation of the event. Documentary footage intertwines with participant poetry, singing, expressions of needs, and images of nature, movement, intimacy, and the strength that emerged during those few days spent in the Estonian forest.
