Agata życzkowska

Choreographer, actress, dancer, performer, producer, and dramaturge. A graduate of the Acting Department at the Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Łódź and of postgraduate studies in Cultural Diplomacy at the Jagiellonian University. She received her dance education under the guidance of artists such as Nadia Kevan, Ray Chung, Maria Marta Colusi, Natalia Iwaniec, Silje Solheim Johnsen, Weronika Pelczyńska, Maria Stokłosa, Michal Sayfan, and Michael Getman. Founder of the HOTELOKO Company collective, within which she has created over a dozen dance performances. Her works have been presented at Polish and international festivals.

She received a group award for the performance Absolutely Fabulous Dancers at the Quartiers Danses Festival in Montreal and an award for the performance Axiom of Choice at the Sopot Consequences Theatre Festival. She was awarded cultural mobility grants in 2020 and 2021, as well as an artistic scholarship from the City of Warsaw for 2023. Her performance LUXA, created as part of this scholarship, was selected for the 2024 Polish Dance Platform.

She is the president of the Foundation for the Development of Theatre ‘NOWA FALA’, a member of the presidium of the Sectoral Social Dialogue Commission for Dance, and a member of the Sectoral Social Dialogue Commission for Culture at the Warsaw City Culture Department. She is affiliated with the Forum of Dance Art Communities and the Polish Stage Artists Association (ZASP). In 2021, she founded the U:NEW Dance Wave Festival in Warsaw. She has been involved in new choreography for many years. Since 2021, she has been part of the “Micro Taiga” women’s network for women leaders from Eastern Europe, initiated by the Berlin-based collective New Visions.

She received an award at the 19th Festival of Theatre Schools in Łódź for her dance role as Venticelli in Amadeus, directed by Waldemar Zawodziński, where she also served as the director’s assistant. For three years, she was an actress at the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz, where she performed in nine productions, including The Shape of Things directed by Iwona Kempa. During that time, she received two awards: an ensemble award for The Vampire Family directed by Paweł Szkotak, where she was also the assistant director, and the H. Konieczka Award for Best Young Actor.

She collaborated with the Body/Mind Foundation as a producer and casting director and performer in the performance The SHOW MUST GO ON – concept and choreography by Jérôme Bel. She was also the coordinator of three editions of the Body/Mind Festival, directed an original film as part of the 21 Artists for the 21st Century project, and created the performance Don’t Stop Me Now for the 20th anniversary edition of the Body/Mind Festival.

She is a promoter and ambassador of the field of new contemporary dance. She served as director, curator, co-organizer, and specialist in image, communication, and promotion for the project “Dance Art Center in Warsaw,” co-funded by the Capital City of Warsaw (2016–2019). She is familiar with the Warsaw, Polish, and European dance communities and actively participates in premieres in Poland and worldwide, giving her insight into new dance trends and innovations. At the same time, as an artist, she is a pioneer of many initiatives. She also supports young creators and debutants. She was the editor-in-chief as well as the marketing and promotion specialist for the socio-cultural magazine RAZEM. Świat w naszych oczach. She served as vice president of the Polish branch of the International Theatre Institute ITI. She also collaborated as a project coordinator for NGOs with the Teraz Poliż Association and the Ognisko Theatre.

MIrek Woźniak

Dancer, singer – musical actor, choreographer, performer.

Together with Agata Życzkowska, he co-creates the HOTELOKO Company, through which he has realized performances such as “Absolutely Fabulous Dancers,” “Axiom of Choice,” “Extinction: REplay,” “Solarpunk,” and “(M)OTHERS.”

He has trained in workshops with, among others, Barbara Sier-Janik, Ewa Głowacka, Henryk Jeż, and Iwona Olszowska. He holds a Master’s degree from the Warsaw University of Physical Education, majoring in Physical Education.

Co-founder of the artistic collective “Kompania Primavera” alongside Iza Szostak, Ramona Nagabczyńska, Anna Hop, and Szymon Osiński, under the direction of Dariusz Lewandowski. He has collaborated with Jarosław Staniek, Mikołaj Mikołajczyk, Natalia Korczakowska, Maja Kleczewska, Marta Ziółek, Inga Plichowska, and Sylwia Adamowicz. Together with Agata Życzkowska, he received the First Prize at the Sopockie Konsekwencje Teatralne festival for the performance “Axiom of Choice” (2020). He was nominated for the Jan Kiepura Musical Theatre Awards in the category dancer – other forms for the show Maria de Buenos Aires (2022). He is a frequent participant in the Miami International Ballet Festival. He has also created choreography for performances such as “A kontra M” and “Woźniak/Łosik,” as well as for the shows “Orpheus and Eurydice” and “No Man’s Land.” Currently, he is involved in the production of “Kinky Boots,” directed by Ewelina Piotrowiak and choreographed by Paulina Andrzejewska at the Dramatic Theatre in Warsaw.

He is a vocalist and soloist in the vocal group “Voysys” and has launched a solo vocal career as Mirek Woźniak, with several singles released, including Do MA, Sumienie, Gramy, and Mowa Ciałą.

He is a personal development trainer, coach, founder of the company Smart Star, and a member of the Psyche Center team in Skierniewice. He regularly leads development and artistic workshops such as “FOLLOW THE VOICE,” “HOW TO BE YOURSELF AND SAFELY LOOK TO THE FUTURE,” and “NEW HORIZONS.” He completed yoga teacher training at Omśrodek and teaches Hatha Yoga classes. He divides his life between Poland and Spain.

KArina szutko

Dancer, choreographer, visual artist, and coordinator. Between 2021 and 2024, she participated as a dancer, coordinator, and producer in four Erasmus+ programs in the field of contemporary dance: “Dance Highways,” “Viral Visions – deconstructing art immunity,” Innovative Tools For Dance Teachers (In.To.Da.Te.), and “Contemporary Dance for Sustainability and Inclusion – CODASI.”

Additionally, she has developed her dance education by attending contemporary dance workshops led by Weronika Pelczyńska, Iza Szostak, Maria Stokłosa, Karolina Bartoń, Julia Adamczyk, Kamila Kwietniewska, Maria Colusi, Silje Solheim Johansen, Jacqueline Fischer, and Jackie Taffanel. She took part in the project “Family Affair” by the Italian collective ZimmerFrei as part of the Warsaw Dance Scene organized by the Ciało/Umysł Foundation (2015).

For several years, she attended classes with the modern dance group New Folk, led by Anna Gilla-Małuj (2019–2024). From 2010 to 2022, she was a member of the Warsaw-based ballroom dance formation MBB. She is the European Champion in the Caribbean Show category (Lyon 2017), World Champion in the Latin Show category (Sarajevo 2019), and Polish Champion at the National IDO Championships (Ossa 2020 and Raszyn 2021). She won first prize twice in contemporary dance and jazz/modern competitions, Solove 2020 and Solove 2021, held at the Palace of Youth in Warsaw.

Since 2018, she has co-created the HOTELOKO Company collective. She participated in the performance “Insta Show” (2018), part of the Warsaw Dance Art Center project, conceptualized and choreographed by Magdalena Przybysz and directed by Agata Życzkowska, which was selected for the Polish National Institute of Music and Dance program “Stage for Dance 2019.” She attended the “Pass the Dance On” workshops led by Dawid Żakowski, Ewelina Sobieraj, and Agata Życzkowska (2019). Together with Agata Życzkowska, she co-created the music for the performance “EXTINCTION” performed by the HOTELOKO Collective (2021). In 2022, she took part in the new version of the performance “Extinction: REplay,” and in 2023 in the shows “SOLARPUNK” and “LUXA.” In 2024, within the collective, she realized the performance “(M)OTHERS” as well as the short piece and film “Twilight.”

The artist is also involved in painting, graphic design, and poetry. Currently, she is a community instructor in the fine arts studio—drawing and painting—led by Robert Jankowski. The theme of her painting work revolves around creating absurd, ironic symbolic collages accompanied by dragons. In recent years, she has organized exhibitions such as “Mazurskie Smoki,” “smOKO,” and “ROCK SMOKA.” She is the author of the HOTELOKO logo and the logo for the Viral Visions project..

MAciej feliga

Dancer, performer, actor, and educator. Connected with dance from a young age — developing skills in classical dance, contemporary dance, and competitive dance in various styles. He also trained as an actor at the Theatre Studio at Teatr BAZA in Warsaw under the direction of Tomasz Zadróżny.

Since 2023, he has been a member of the HOTELOKO Company. Within this collaboration, he participated in the performance SOLARPUNK, directed and choreographed by Agata Życzkowska, presented among others at the U:NEW Dance Wave Festival in Warsaw, Festival Internazionale Dissidanza in Palermo (2023), and the Danses-Cités Festival in Carcassonne (2024). In cooperation with Agata Życzkowska, he also created the dance etude Twilight in 2024 and performed in the show (M)OTHERS.

Previously, he worked with Dawid Żakowski and Teatr Maska in Sochaczew, where he appeared in the productions Balladyna (2020) and FEferdydurke (2021), which was presented among others during the Saturator Theatre Festival in Garwolin. As part of the International Theatre Festival Unity III, he co-created the project Pass It On (Podaj dalej), realized jointly with teams from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary (2021). He also took part in the musical OzRemix (2021) and the play We Are Wonderful (Jesteśmy Wspaniali) (2022).

Since 2022, he has also been associated with the Stowarzyszenie Sztuka Nowa (New Art Association), with which he prepared the performance Hamlet.motion for the 27th International Shakespeare Festival. In 2023, the project was transformed into the show Hamlet in Motion (Hamlet w ruchu), presented among others at the Mazovian Institute of Culture in Warsaw and the Factory of Art in Łódź.

He also performed in the piece Tenderness (Czułość) during a recital by pianist and vocalist Daria Kobierecka, for which he prepared the choreography.

As an educator, he leads theatrical and dance-performance classes for children and youth. At the Milanówek Cultural Center, he runs three artistic groups — two youth groups (dance/performance and vocal-theatrical) and one for children. He also acts as an organizer of workshops there, including Land Your Body and Mind (Wyląduj ciało i umysł) — improvisational classes for women. Together with the youth, he created the show We Are Not the Same, which premiered in the spaces of a former cinema and Waleria Villa in Milanówek.

At the Municipal Cultural Center in Sochaczew, he co-leads classes at Teatr Maska with Dawid Żakowski, where he was responsible for choreography in the play Kaj, Where Are You? (Kaj, gdzie jesteś?), realized as part of the Pass It On (Podaj dalej) project.

During the Freedom Festival at the Warsaw Uprising Museum, he led a morning warm-up session for event participants.

He is also interested in social media, marketing, scenography, and costume design. He actively travels and continually broadens his artistic horizons.
